Everybody wants to be a cat. And honestly, looking at this family, it is very difficult to argue with that.
Disney's The Aristocats arrived in 1970 — the first animated feature to be greenlit after Walt Disney's death — and delivered something that has quietly charmed every generation since: a warm, witty, thoroughly Parisian adventure about an elegant cat named Duchess, her three impeccably mannered kittens, and Thomas O'Malley, the most charismatic alley cat ever to serenade someone on a rooftop in the middle of the night. Set against the golden light and cobblestoned romance of turn-of-the-century Paris, it is a film that makes everything look more beautiful than it has any right to.
The Aristocats has never been the loudest film in the Disney canon. It doesn't need to be. It has Scat Cat's jazz band, Marie's unapologetic confidence, Toulouse's artistic ambitions, Berlioz at the piano, and a butler villain so incompetent he is almost sympathetic. It has, above all, a sense of style that holds up completely. Some films age. This one simply becomes more charming with time.
Our Aristocats collection brings together officially licensed gifts, homeware, accessories and collectibles — from figures and Funko Pops to mugs, tote bags and prints that bring a little Parisian elegance into everyday life. For devoted Disney fans, for lovers of all things French, and for anyone who has ever owned a cat and recognised every single one of these characters immediately.
Naturally, Marie is everyone's favourite. She knows it too.
