The fairest of them all. The first of them all. And after nearly ninety years, still very much one of them all.
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs arrived in 1937 as Walt Disney's greatest gamble — a feature-length animated film at a time when animation was considered strictly short-form entertainment, dismissed by the industry as Disney's Folly before a single frame had been screened. The world saw it and understood immediately that something had changed. Snow White became the highest-grossing film of its year, won an honorary Academy Award consisting of one full-sized Oscar and seven miniature ones, and established the template for every Disney princess story that followed. Without Snow White, there is no Cinderella, no Aurora, no Ariel, no Moana. She came first. Everything else is downstream of her.
The story itself is older than Disney by centuries — rooted in the Brothers Grimm fairy tale of 1812, which was itself drawn from older oral traditions reaching further back still. A young princess, a jealous queen, a poisoned apple, seven companions with very distinct personalities, and a forest full of animals who understand goodness when they encounter it. Disney took that material and produced something that has never once lost its power to enchant. The 2025 live-action adaptation introduced it to an entirely new generation, and the argument about favourite dwarfs began all over again. It always does.
Our Snow White collection brings together officially licensed figures, accessories, homeware and gifts — from Snow White and the Evil Queen Funko Pops and collector's pieces to mugs, prints and keepsakes celebrating Disney's very first princess. For lifelong devotees of the original, for fans of the new film, and for anyone who has ever bitten into an apple and felt, just for a moment, slightly nervous.
The fairest gift in all the land. Quite possibly.
