How we do business sustainably

Since 2012, sustainability has been part of how Olleke operates — not as a marketing exercise, but as a genuine commitment woven into every part of the business.

“We do not need magic to transform our world. We carry all of the power we need inside ourselves already.”

— J.K. Rowling

Our Wizarding Forest

All profits from our wizarding gift wrap go to planting trees that provide food or products for local farmers. Some customers adopt trees and receive updates, photos and news directly from the farmers.

Our commitments

In our shops you pay paperless. No printed receipts — everything is digital.

We don’t add packing slips or invoices to orders. All receipts are sent digitally.

Our shopping bags are made from recycled materials.

We reuse most of the padding material and boxes we receive from suppliers — since 2012.

All new packaging carries an FSC label or is made from recycled materials.

We use sustainable carriers to ship your order, with CO² compensation.

Our shops have run on green energy since 2012.

We believe in respect for human rights across our entire supply chain.

All lights in our shops are LED and electronic devices carry A+ energy certification.

Selling quality products means our return rate has been just 1% since 2012.

Our own products are printed on paper made from waste or recycled materials.

Our suppliers have reduced plastic packaging by 60% or more over the years.

We offer eco-friendly, locally made and vegan products.

Our POS and online store run on carbon-neutral servers.

We have steadily reduced our use of drinking water and energy over the years.

Olleke is a vegan, LGBTQ+ owned independent shop — and proud of it.
