Two friends. Two bicycles. The entire world to explore, one country at a time.
Mouk is a French animated series created by Marc Boutavant, based on his illustrated books, following a small white bear named Mouk and his best friend Chavapa as they travel the globe by bicycle — arriving somewhere new in every episode, making friends, joining in local traditions, learning something about a different culture and moving on with the cheerful, open-hearted confidence of travellers who have never once found a place that didn't have something wonderful to offer. The animation is bright and rounded and warm. The world it depicts is diverse, curious and generous. The message, delivered with complete lightness and no didactic weight whatsoever, is simply that the world is full of interesting people doing interesting things and the best response to that is to get on your bicycle and go and find them.
Mouk understands something that the best children's television has always understood: that curiosity is a value, that difference is interesting rather than threatening, and that friendship is the thing you take with you that makes everywhere else feel manageable. It is gentle, funny and beautifully designed — a show that children love for the adventures and adults appreciate for the worldview it quietly, consistently models.
Our Mouk collection brings together officially licensed gifts, accessories and keepsakes celebrating the little bear and his travelling companion — for young fans of the series, for families who have watched every episode together, and for anyone who believes that the best thing you can give a child is the idea that the world is worth exploring.
Pedal on. The next adventure is always just around the corner.
