Krypto possesses the same abilities as Superman, as they are both from Krypton and draw power from the Earth’s sun. His powers are proportional to his size, but just as a normal dog, his sense of smell and hearing abilities are much stronger than his human counterpart.
Historically, Krypto wears a gold collar with a dog-sized version of Superman’s cape, but just like Superman, he takes this off when he wants to blend in.
