He didn't ask for destiny. He asked to be left alone. The Continent had other ideas.
Andrzej Sapkowski's Witcher saga began as a series of Polish short stories in the late 1980s and grew into one of the most richly imagined fantasy worlds in European literature — morally complex, rooted in Slavic folklore, and centred on Geralt of Rivia, a monster hunter who is better at his job than he would like anyone to know, accompanied by a sorceress who contains entire storms and a child of destiny he very much did not volunteer for. Evil is evil, Geralt says. Lesser, greater, middling — it's all the same. The only difference is what you choose.
CD Projekt Red's video game trilogy elevated the franchise to global phenomenon status, with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt widely considered one of the greatest role-playing games ever made. Netflix's adaptation introduced the saga to millions more, and Sapkowski's books have since sold in their tens of millions worldwide.
Our Witcher collection brings together officially licensed figures, apparel, accessories and gifts for fans of Geralt, Yennefer, Ciri, Jaskier and the world they navigate together — grey and difficult and occasionally magnificent.
Evil is evil. Lesser, greater, middling. Makes no difference.
