General
What does Olleke mean?
There are several ways to define 'Olleke'. One: it's a Dutch version of 'Olly', a nick for Oliver. Two: it's the first word of a Dutch riddle — like 'Eenie' from 'Eenie Meenie Miney Mo', Dutch say 'Olleke Bolleke Rebusolleke'. Three: in the West-Flemish dialect, 'Olle' means 'every'. Add the diminutive suffix -ke and you get something petite that everyone loves — cuteness overload.
How do I pronounce Olleke?
Native English speakers often say OO-LEK-KEH — not bad at all. More accurately it sounds like the beginning of 'Olly' followed by 'luh kuh'. We don't mind if you get it wrong, unless you're a Dutch speaker. Then we'd have to have a word.

Do I need an account to buy from you?
No. Having an account makes the process quicker and lets you track orders, but you can always shop as a guest.
Do I need an e-mail to place an order?
No — you can use a phone number instead. You'll receive your confirmation and shipping updates by SMS. However, we advise using the international format (e.g. 0032 for Belgium, 0031 for the Netherlands) with no spaces or symbols. Note: you cannot create an account with only a phone number.
What should I do if I have not received a confirmation?
Log in and check your order status online, and check your spam folder first. We always send a confirmation as required by law. If you only provided a phone number, our system cannot send an email confirmation — an email address is needed for that.
Can I have my order delivered to a different address?
Yes. You can choose any delivery address at checkout. With an account, you can save multiple addresses in your address book.
Do you gift wrap items?
Yes! Gift wrapping is available for €4 extra. If your item is eligible, you'll see "Add Gift Wrap" at checkout.
Can I get an invoice?
We don't generate invoices by default as this site is set up for private customers. If you need a professional invoice, please contact us beforehand with your VAT number and your order. We'll send you a digital invoice with a payment link.
Harry Potter
Do you have Harry Potter Birthday Cards?
Yes — we stock official foil cards from the USA, our own illustrated greeting cards inspired by the Wizarding World, and blank cards designed by MinaLima.
Can you buy the wand of Lucius Malfoy?
His iconic black snake cane-wand is sold with the walking stick — it cannot be purchased separately due to size and weight. His second, more modest wand is available on its own. Check current stock and all Lucius Malfoy products on our site.
Do you sell the Nimbus 2000?
The full-size Nimbus 2000 reproduction was limited to 10,000 copies worldwide and is no longer in production. It is not available from us or from any official retailer — you'll need to search the second-hand market. The junior-scaled version is still produced and we carry it when available. The Nimbus 2001 and the Firebolt are still in production and regularly in stock.
Can you buy the first wand of Luna Lovegood?
Luna's first oak wand (decorated with acorns) is not sold separately. It is only available as part of the Dumbledore's Army Wand Collection. Her second (tulip-shaped) wand is sold individually.
Can you buy the first wand of Bellatrix Lestrange?
Her first wand is sold in a set with her Death Eater mask in miniature scale and a wall display. The Noble Collection also produced a single version in plain blister packaging — we stock the collector's edition.
Why did Harry live with the Dursleys?
When Lily Potter sacrificed herself, she placed a "love protection" spell on Harry. When Petunia accepted Harry into her home, she sealed that protection — making it impossible for Voldemort or his Death Eaters to find him while he remained there.
Why am I sorted into the wrong house?
We all carry traits from every house, but one tends to be dominant. Sorting is based on the traits you admire or need to develop — not necessarily those you already have. There is no wrong house. Stay true to yourself.
Into how many languages was Harry Potter translated?
More than 70 languages — including Latin and Ancient Greek as academic exercises. House names change too: Slytherin becomes Zwadderich in Dutch, Serdaigle in French, Tassorosso in Italian, and Rohkelikko in Finnish.
Does every Chocolate Frog come with a Famous Witches and Wizards Card?
Yes. The themepark-exclusive pentagonal version contains a random animated card. The Noble Collection replica always comes with the Albus Dumbledore card. The JellyBelly rectangular version includes one of 8 collectible wizard cards.
Do you sell butterbeer?
We sell Flying Cauldron Butterscotch Soda in bottles in our Bruges shop. We don't ship it, as our carrier doesn't ship liquids.
Shipping
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your country. We ship to most European countries and beyond. Some destinations are not covered due to shipping costs. Life-size items cannot be shipped internationally.
When will I receive my order?
Once your order ships, you'll receive an email and/or text message with your tracking number. GLS Belgium sends email updates with an approximate delivery hour for Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, and the Netherlands. Check your inbox and spam folder.
Can I update my order?
Please review your order carefully before submitting. Once placed, orders cannot be amended. You do have the right to return items after receiving them.
Can my parcel be delivered to a parcel locker?
Only parcels under 30kg and smaller than 32×43×58cm fit in a locker. Our wand boxes (60×10×10cm) are too large. Redirection to a nearby pick-up point is possible, as is delivery on a different date — contact GLS directly with your tracking number.
Security & Privacy
Is it safe to order through your site?
Yes. We are Level 1 PCI DSS and PSD2 compliant. All financial data is stored on well-protected servers supervised by our Dutch NOC team and the Dutch Central Bank (DNB). We fully comply with European privacy law.
How can I request my personal data?
Please use the contact form on our website to request all personal data we store about you. We'll handle your request in accordance with GDPR.
How can I recognise an official product?
All products in our shop are officially licensed — you don't need to worry. Official products carry a copyright or trademark notice (Warner Bros, Disney, etc.) on the packaging, often with a holographic sticker. European packaging must also state the producer's address. If that information is missing, it's likely unofficial.
Do you keep lost property?
We hold lost property for a limited time. If you've lost something in our shop, please contact us as soon as possible. Sending it back to you is subject to postal charges. Olleke accepts no responsibility for lost items.
Olleke Wizarding Shop
Does every location sell the same products?
No. Every shop has its own collection. Popular items may overlap, but each location has its own character and range.
Do you have a brick-and-mortar shop?
We have two shops in Bruges, Belgium, and a shop-in-shop in Uithoorn (Amsterdam area). Our stores and website run seamlessly together — click & collect and in-store returns for online orders are available in Bruges.
How do I get to Olleke?
Both Bruges shops are in the historic city centre. Olleke Bruges is a 7-minute walk from the main railway station — follow the water near Begijnhof. Parking: Katelijne, Oud Sint-Jan, or Station (all 3–7 minutes away). Olleke The Unicorn is between the Groeninge Museum and Arentshof, next to the Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekerk.
Are the prices the same online as in store?
Yes. Prices are identical online and in our physical stores or at fairs. On rare occasions prices may differ — in that case, price matching between online and in-store is not available.
Can I collect my order in store?
Yes. Select "collect in store" as your shipping method at checkout and choose the Bruges location.
Can I shop tax free?
If you have permanent residence outside the EU and spend a minimum of €125 in our Bruges shop, you can request a Tax Free Form. Standard VAT is 21% (6% on food and books). The stamping period is the issuing month plus 3 months, and stamped forms are valid for 3 years.
Is Olleke concerned about the environment?
Yes. We reuse 90% of supplier packaging, print on PaperWise agricultural-waste paper, run on 100% green electricity, don't print receipts by default, and use compostable, PVC-free shopping bags. Our carrier GLS is also committed to reducing emissions.
Returns
Can I return a product to the brick-and-mortar shop?
Products purchased in our physical shops cannot be returned. The only exception is a same-day exchange for something of equal value. Online orders can be returned in our Bruges store within 14 days and will be processed as an online return. Gift cards cannot be returned or refunded.
What do I do if I receive a faulty item?
Email our customer service team as soon as you discover the fault. We'll get back to you promptly. If you ordered a pre-order item that wasn't included in your shipment, check your account to see which items were shipped — the rest will follow.
Can I cancel my order?
No. Once placed, you are committed to the order. You do have the legal right to return the item after receiving it. Belgian consumer law does not permit cancellation of an order before delivery.
Payments
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Maestro, V-Pay, Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, Bancontact, iDEAL, and Klarna.
Do you accept foreign currencies?
Yes. Select your currency from the dropdown (top right on desktop, bottom of page on mobile). We support Euro, GBP, USD, CAD, AUD, CHF, SEK, NOK, DKK, CZK, ISK, BGN, HUF, HRK, PLN, RON and more. Prices follow the daily exchange rate based on Euro.
What is your price adjustment policy?
If an item goes on sale within 7 days of your order being shipped, we'll honour the lower price with a one-time promotional code sent to your email. This code is valid for online orders only. In-store and online prices are not matched against each other.
Gift Cards
Can I buy a Gift Card?
Yes. Choose any value (or a multiple of €5) and add it to your cart like any other product. Gift cards can be redeemed in all Olleke shops, at events, and online.
Can I use more than one gift card at a time?
Yes. You can redeem multiple gift cards in a single purchase, both online and in our Bruges shops.
Can gift cards be returned or refunded?
No. Gift cards cannot be returned or refunded, online or in store.
Products
What is a pre-order?
A pre-order means the item is not currently in stock. There are three reasons: (1) the last item sold in one of our shops and a reorder is on the way; (2) it's a new product not yet released — look for 'ETA'; (3) it's a specific item we order on request (e.g. a ring size or oversized product).
Do the wands work?
If you're a wizard: absolutely. If you're a Muggle: we have a wand guide to help you choose one that feels right.
Are the wands made from wood?
No. The original movie wands were made in resin — a dense synthetic material that looks and feels premium. Resin is heavier than plastic and breaks if dropped. All Noble Collection wands are hand-painted resin reproductions of the screen-used props. Wooden wands exist but are unofficial fan products.
Are heat or cold colour-changing mugs dishwasher safe?
No. Wash by hand only. The heat-sensitive paint will crack or bubble in a dishwasher or at very high temperatures. Heat change activates at 60°C or above; cold change at a few degrees below room temperature. Add ice cubes to hold the effect longer.
Are the charms compatible with Pandora bracelets?
Yes. All Harry Potter, Fantastic Beasts, and Disney slider charms are compatible with Pandora bracelets. We also sell matching bracelets.
Do you have the One Ring in stock?
We usually stock the etched and unetched versions in size 10 (19.8mm). All other sizes (5 colours × 2 variations × 10 sizes) are available as pre-order. In-stock sizes ship within about 10 days; out-of-stock sizes take 8–12 weeks. Check current stock online.
Are the pages of notebooks blank?
Almost all notebooks are ruled. The only truly blank notebook is the Tom Riddle Diary replica. We also have A5 and A4 sketchbooks inspired by the Wizarding World.
The item I want is out of stock — when will it return?
Most out-of-stock items are on reorder and will arrive with our next delivery. If there's a manufacturer shortage, it may take weeks to months. Unfortunately we can't always give a precise date in those cases.
Do you have children's sizes?
Most apparel is adult sizing (smallest is XS). Hogwarts ties and Wizard Robes are available in children's sizes (XS is limited or pre-order). We also stock a Harry Potter baby collection — check our site for current availability.
Can you help me choose a product?
Absolutely. Contact us with your budget, the recipient's age, and the occasion. For wands, most collectors start with Dumbledore's Elder Wand, Hermione, Harry, or Voldemort — and move on to Snape, Sirius, Luna, or Ginny for the second. When in doubt, Bertie Botts or Chocolate Frogs are always a safe and magical choice.
How do I care for my jewellery?
Keep jewellery away from water, lotions, and sunscreen. Store in a dry place away from direct sunlight. Clean with a soft dry cloth. Couture Kingdom (Disney) and The Carat Shop / Swarovski (Harry Potter) products come with a 12-month repair or replacement warranty.
I've seen a product on another site — can you order it?
Email us and we'll check. We only sell officially licensed products, so fan-made items we cannot source. If we can find the official version, we'll list it at the official price.
